An introductory course that covers the basic aspects of children’s development in relation to welfare, care, behaviour, and learning.
Level 2
Early Years Practioner – Level 2 Diploma
Ideal for those looking to work with children between birth and 5 years, and gain knowledge of working with children up to 7 years.

Introduction
Supporting Work in Schools – Introduction
A starting point covering the basic aspects of children’s development and introduces how you can support learning activities within the classroom.
Level 2
Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools – Level 2
This will provide skills and knowledge required for job roles in education and training as a teaching assistant supporting in a classroom in a primary or secondary school.
Level 3
Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools – Level 3
This is suitable for those already working as a teaching assistant in a school, leading to a Level 3 qualification.
